I found your link through Cloud Manor and am very excited to know that you are translating The Demoness Is Not Evil! I’ve read Moonblossom’s review of this novel and was hoping someone would pick up the novel as a translation project. (I don’t know how to read Chinese.) Anyway, I’m here to support you!

      Wow that was fast of you haha. I’m glad that you’re interesting in this novel, I’m a complete newbie when it comes translating but I hope you would enjoy my translations nonetheless.
      Honestly speaking, I’m like best friends with google translate at the moment. Just so that it can give me the most basic outline of what some of phrases says, since my simplified chinese isn’t that good (my parents are from HK so I’m more familiar with traditional characters), thank God google translate has a listen feature also since I can at least understand Mandarin XD
      But yeh! Thanks for the support!

      1. Huh! I did not realize that Chinese novels are written in simplified Chinese. I would think official novels by professionals would be written in traditional Mandarin. Well, I’ll be watching for your translation of the first chapter. Thanks for the hard work!

    1. There’s too much proverbs and metaphorical phrases used in chinese novels for google translate to recognise the meanings, so it’s no surprise that it’s so difficult to understand its translations haha. But thank you, I’ll try my best to translate ^_^

        English is my main language now but Chinese was my first language so I know some phrases/concepts have cultural significance and are difficult to translate directly. Thank you for putting in time to explain the poems and songs etc.

My only wish is that all C-novels translators keep to the dedication of completely finishing their projects. In the meantime, I was wondering if you could pickup White Calculation by Big Grey Wolf With Wings. I’ve been a fan of C-Novel for some times and heard of this book for couple years now but so far I’ve only read the first 3 chapters. Been hoping someone would translate it.
