Hmm, I just skim read through the chapters…I would say it’s rather bittersweet? Too bad it’s only 4 chapters 😦

That’s a perfect way to describe it, bittersweet.
I’m actually thankful it’s only 4 chapters lol, it feels like self-torture when I’m translating and crying at the same time XD I must say that my respect for translators of all the tearjerker novels particularly, Tong Hua novels, has seriously increased tenfold!

Hi Xiaoxiaomei.
Thank you so much for translating this wonderful story! I really, really, REALLY like this story…at first it was so bitter as he seemed like he abandoned her. yet at the end, it was so sweet and sad how he stayed true to her, refusing to have other wives…
this is such a great story with the beautiful plot style and your translations are awesome!
however, where i live, c novels aren’t very well-known and it’s such a pity that people where i live haven’t read such a wonderful story! may i suggest that you post this translation story on wattpad to share this to more people ? wattpad is a very popular site where people post their stories to share with each other. if you post it there, i am sure that there will be more people who will read and will enjoy this novel ! furthermore, it will generate a greater interest to c novels 🙂
so please consider posting on wattpad. if you don’t mind, i can even help you post it on wattpad. this way more and more people can read this awesome story! 🙂
once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TRANSLATING THIS GREAT STORY! thank you for introducing such a fantastic story ~

Hi there Zing 🙂
First all you are very welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed the story so much. And secondly, if you would like to post this on wattpad, then you definitely have my permission 🙂 but please can you send me the link to it? Just so that I can add it to the blog, should anyone find it easier to read from wattpad, as it has an app which makes for more convenient reading as well right?
Also please do provide a link to this blog, and if you want to spread the love for c-novels, you could link the shushengbar too if you like 🙂
…I’m so sorry if I’m starting to sound really fussy, I’ll stop now haha
Thanks again for the comment 🙂

Hi, This is Yang Xi, a reporter from Global Times based in Beijing. Global Times is doing a cover story about translators of foreign citizen of Chinese origin (华裔), such as Chinese-Americans who translate Chinese into English or other languages. I found your Facebook page, and wondering do you have any 华裔 translator here? Would you like to do an interview with us? Thank you!

@ Yang Xi,
Please do not troll this page. It might discourage translator to translate. This is for translator and readers comment.
No translator would want to be interviewed for fear of copyright issues. It is a no brainer yet you asked such stupid question.

First of all, I had interviewed three translators, published the article and received a lot of positive feedback among readers. So you don’t need to worry about “no translator would want to be interviewed”.
And secondly, you said that “no translator would want to be interviewed for fear of copyright issues”. I don’t know if you are a reader or a translator, but I feel sorry to know that, you, as the website user, considering what other translators did on the website is an incorrect thing, because they might “fear of copyright issues”. Why they “fear of copyright issues”? Can you represent them? How can you use the website but assume what good things translators did might cause “copyright issues”? 【I think you insulted and offended not only me, but translators as well】
And thirdly, you said that “it might discourage translator to translate”, if I discouraged translator, I feel sorry for he/her. But as far as I know, you are the first one said that and in an impolitely way.
Fourthly, you commented that “this is for translator and readers comment”, are you the manager of the website? Or can you show me the regulations of the website? Does it ruled that “this is for translator and readers comment” only?【Even there is a regulation about that, I think you still need to define what is translator and reader mean clearly to me, who can be reader and who can’t be on this website?】
You commented five sentences, besides “please do not troll this page”, the other four sentences all exited logical bugs. If you can’t answer above all questions, then how can you say what I asked was “such stupid question”?
I was doing my job, and commented politely on the website. I was using my right, as a human being, I can comment legal things on the Internet as freely as I want. Everybody can comment, but why you force me to stop using my right?
Also, I didn’t left several comments on one same page, and if you don’t like my comment, you could just skip it. But why you left two pretty same content messages on the same page? Were your comments related to the story? Have you considered that your messages might bother other readers? And after you offended me, you should foresee that I would reply you. And have you considered that our comments may bother other readers as well? 【If you really want to notice me, you can just send me a message】
What you commented “it is a no brainer yet you asked such stupid question” is rude, impolite and nonsense to me. I won’t like you, saying anything humiliated words to you. But you should know that, what you behaved is not deserve my respect. And I don’t agree with you and your logic on these comments at all. And what you commented “stupid question” offended me. PERIOD!!

Also hi Yang Xi, I apologise for such a late reply. I'm too busy at the moment and wouldn't be able to take the interview, I'm so sorry if I answered too late, I've been so busy lately and completely forgot to reply to your comment.
